Denise Kimani
Denise's passion for interior design originated from studying ancient architecture and history at the University of California, Santa Barbara. Her passion was accentuated while living and teaching in Florence, Italy. The exposure to a plethora of classical architecture and fine arts increased her admiration and desire to create beautiful timeless environments that people would enjoy for many years.
Denise has over a decade of experience working on high-end residential and commercial design projects. Her work involves designing new construction builds to full remodels for multimillion-dollar homes and commercial properties. Her projects span across different architectural styles ranging from Contemporary to Traditional, Coastal to Transitional. Throughout her career, Denise has demonstrated passion, innovation, and exceptional clientele rapport. Denise’s capacities and concentrations are in project management, architectural drawings and renderings, sourcing high-end materials, and digital presentations. She is a Certified Interior Designer in California and holds degrees in Interior Design and Art History & Architecture. She is also an active member with ASID and IIDA.
Denise enjoys spending quality time with her family. She regularly attends industry events for professional development and to stay up-to-date with the latest residential and commercial décor trends.
Samuel Kimani
Samuel's career has taken him across a wide range of industries, including financial services, technology, nonprofit work, and social enterprise, each chapter sharpening his instinct for building relationships, solving problems, and delivering results for the people and organizations he serves.
With nearly two decades of experience in business development, strategic planning, fundraising, and project management, Samuel has partnered with a wide range of for-profit and nonprofit organizations, from early-stage ventures to established institutions. As Co-Founder of Denise Kimani Designs, he leads the firm's operations and business development, bringing the same client-focused, results-driven approach to every project.
Beyond his professional work, Samuel constantly seeks new opportunities to make a meaningful and lasting difference. Above all, he is dedicated to family life and enjoys sharing experiences and staying active with Denise and their three sons.
